Google X HTF - AI: The Future of Work in Action!

At this exclusive event, held in the prestigious setting of Hôtel de Poulpry, Sébastien Missoffe, Managing Director of Google France, and Éric Salobir, President of the Executive Committee of the Human Technology Foundation, welcomed top speakers to discuss the challenges of AI and the future of work.

A Dialogue Between Key Stakeholders

The morning opened with remarks from Madame Astrid Panosyan-Bouvet, Minister of Labor and Employment, and Sana de Courcelles, Director and Senior Advisor for Special Initiatives at the International Labour Organization. Their interventions emphasized the need for proactive governance to support the transformation of the job market.

Moderated by Marjorie Paillon, several roundtables provided complementary perspectives on the professional changes driven by AI:

• Economic Impacts of AI: Alvaro Santos Pereira, Chief Economist at the OECD, and Guy Ben-Ishai, Head of Economic Policy Research at Google, analyzed the economic dynamics at play.

• Job Transformation and Inclusion: Jean-Christophe Arnauné (Ares), Afaf El Kaoun-Gabelotaud (City of Paris), Matthieu Olivier (La Poste Groupe), Ville Valtonen (MinnaLearn), and Éric Salobir shared their initiatives to support workers through this transition.

• AI and Job Search: In the third panel, Anthony Babkine, Co-founder of Diversidays, and Esthel Joubert-Gaillard, Head of Communication and Advocacy at Konexio, explored how AI can create new opportunities for job seekers.

• AI and Workforce Integration: The fourth panel highlighted how AI can serve as a lever for professional inclusion, featuring Nathalie Reyre (GIP Plateforme de l’Inclusion), William Elland-Goldsmith (MaVoie.org), Alizée Lozac’hmeur (Makesense), and Hélène Rohaut-Marchal (France Travail, DATA & AI Program Director).

Live demonstration :The event concluded with an interactive session, "How to Integrate AI into Your Job Search," led by Paul Duan, Founder of Bayes Impact, and Isabelle Cerrutti, Intrapreneur for the Young Engagement Contract Application at France Travail.
