In the face of ethical challenges posed by the digital revolution, the Human Technology Foundation’s mission is to create the right conditions to develop technology that serves people. It has established three centers of expertise: research into practical ethics, support for public policymakers and support for business leaders.

The HTF, which leads a network that spans Paris, San Francisco, Geneva, Brussels, Rome, Berlin and Vienna, also carries out its activities within the Montreal ecosystem.

The creation of the Institute of Technology for Humanity - Montreal (Institut de la technologie pour l’humain - Montréal) illustrates the desire expressed by public and private actors in Europe and America to create links in order to develop and share best practices in the adoption of new technologies with respect for people.”
